Her pivotal role as the creator and Executive Director of Ruby’s Enlightened Path, operating under Ruby’s Foster Village BookClub, a 501(c)(3) approved nonprofit organization, underscores her commitment to this cause. Novelette’s journey is not just professional; it’s personal. As both a mother and a foster mother, she intimately understands the challenges and needs of children in foster care.

Michaela (Mikki) Gaffen Stone Became A Montessori Assistant Teacher In Belgium To Connect With Her Children’s Education. She Later Pursued Studies In The USA, Becoming A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. This Ignited A Profound Understanding Of Human Potential, Leading Her To Doctoral Studies. With A Passion For Sharing Knowledge And Raising Her Two Sons As Global Citizens, She’s Dedicated To Sharing Her Insights From Both Life And Academics.

I have been a child advocate since I was a child myself, living in uncertain and frequently unsafe circumstances. I learned early on to gauge people’s moods and anticipate their behaviors in order to know when to hide and when to run to keep myself safe. As I grew older, my sense of justice and a need to protect others became quite fierce. Then I had children. We traveled the world encountering different cultures, learning the norms, rules and restrictions placed on the child and dictating the role of the parent. I intentionally parented my own children differently from my peers and have since made it my mission to help other parents learn ways to do better with their children than they received from their own parents. This is not about blaming anyone for what they cannot help, it’s about cycle breaking.

LaChelle enjoys accomplishing impossible feats because she believes that is evidence of God working in her life and creates momentum in her life when she is faced with challenges in life. Her goal is to leave a lasting impression on everyone that she meets and add value to make their lives better.

LaChelle Adkins is married to Jerome Adkins. The couple have been married for 27 years and have 15 children. LaChelle and Jerome had 13 children together and Jerome has 2 other sons, the oldest of which lived with them from age 11 through high school graduation.

The couple began their own church- World Fellowship of Jesus Christ in 2011. They also began their company Protocol Group in 2016. This company was originally formed to represent their family as they were approached by several production companies to pursue a reality television show. After several contracts that did not share their family vision they retired that journey.

Deborah L. Staunton was raised by a mentally ill father and is raising a mentally ill daughter. She came to motherhood late after enduring four miscarriages and despite having an extensive background in Early Childhood Education, has had an extremely difficult journey in raising two neurodivergent children. Writing has been Deborah’s lifeline and her passion since childhood and has kept her grounded when her life was unravelling.
