Freedom:

Freedom: one day, I asked the sky! Well, what do you do when you are sad? The sky said, let it rain. suddenly at noon, I asked the sun! Well, what do you do when you are sad? Sun said, lower the heat. midnight, I asked the moon! Well, what do you do when you are sad? The moon said, drown in the dark clouds. Today, I asked them! Well, what do you do when you are sad? They said in a haughty voice, stop the flickering. Finally, I asked myself! Well, what do I do when I’m sad? I got the reply, ‘Write about you. .

Dr. Nizam Uddin Anon Epso. Helsinki – Finland

Dream I’m fine — If anyone can correct it, it is him I must say I am fine. Wherever I am, however I am I must say I am fine. You know I’m alive Just don’t know! Life is not about living. Wherever I am, however I am I must say I am fine. You know I’m still smiling Just don’t know! Laughter has no life. Wherever I am, however I am I must say I am fine. You know I sing Just don’t know! There is no pulse in that song. Wherever I am, however I am I must say I am fine. You know I’m happy Just don’t know! Suffering comes in the way of happiness. Wherever I am, however I am I must say I am fine. You know I forgot you Just don’t know! All desires have died. Wherever I am, however I am I must say I am fine.

Our Forgotten Children Book

The Need For Better Investment In Our Children’s Future

Our Children Represent Our Future. They Are The Promise Of Our Nations, Carrying Forward Our Traditions, Our Values, And Our Aspirations. However, It’s Disheartening To See That We Are Consistently Failing To Provide Them With The Resources, Opportunities, And Support They Need To Thrive.

A Brief Glance At Our Adult Society Paints A Troubling Picture. Rising Rates Of Mental Health Issues, Substance Abuse, And Societal Disengagement Hint At Deeper Underlying Problems. Many Of These Challenges Root Back To Childhood Experiences, Education, And Early Exposure (Or Lack Thereof) To Vital Life Skills.

Inadequate Funding And Its Implications

The Foundation For A Healthy And Prosperous Society Is Laid During The Formative Years Of Its Citizens. The Lack Of Funding In Areas Crucial To Childhood Development, Such As Education, Mental Health Services, Children on the spectrum, Family Support, Extracurricular Activities, And Community Support, Deprives Our Children Of The Tools They Need To Succeed In Life.

  1. Education: School Systems That Lack Funding Often Have Outdated Resources, Overcrowded Classrooms, And Underpaid Teachers. This Compromises The Quality Of Education, Making It Harder For Students To Compete In An Increasingly Globalized World. The Way So Many Of Our Children Learn Is Not Being Met, Just Because They Do Not Learn In The Traditional Format Does Not Mean They Are Not Intelligent, So The Need To A Broader Teaching Styles Is A Must To Meet Their Learning Needs.
  2. Mental Health: A Lack Of Emphasis And Funding For Mental Health Services Leaves Many Children With Untreated Traumas Or Conditions, Which Can Manifest Later In Life As Severe Issues.
  3. Extracurricular Activities: Activities Outside The Classroom, Be It Sports, Arts, Or Other Pursuits, Play A Significant Role In Holistic Development. A Lack Of Funding And Awareness Restricts Children’s Access To These Critical Developmental Activities.
  4. Community Support: Children From Underprivileged Backgrounds Often Need More Than Just School; They Need Support Systems That Help Them Navigate Life’s Challenges and support the family as a whole..

Looking Ahead.

As We Move Forward, It’s Essential To Realize That Our Children Aren’t Just The Future – They Are The Present. Every Day They Grow, Learn, And Form Perceptions About The World And Their Place In It. If We Want A Society Of Engaged, Responsible, And Well-Adjusted Adults, We Need To Invest In Our Children Now. This Is More Than Just A Financial Investment. It’s A Commitment To Reevaluate Our Priorities, Reshape Our Societal Structures, And Create An Environment Where Every Child Has An Equal Shot At Success. In The End, The Question Isn’t Whether We Can Afford To Invest In Our Children, But Whether We Can Afford Not To. Our Future Society’s Wellbeing, Prosperity, And Resilience Depend On The Choices We Make Today. Let’s Ensure Our Children Aren’t Left Behind.

Champions Of Change: Stories Of Visionaries Advocating For Our Children

In A World Often Overwhelmed With Challenges, It’s Easy To Feel Like A Single Individual Can’t Make A Difference. Yet, History Has Shown Time And Again That One Person, Fueled By Passion And Determination, Can Create Waves Of Change. Our Forgotten Children’s “Champions Of Change” Is A Compilation Of Stories From Such Individuals – Authors Who Have Dedicated Their Lives To Advocating For Our Children. From Education To Mental Health, Community Support To Extracurricular Activities, Each Chapter Highlights The Journey Of An Author And Their Relentless Pursuit To Fill The Gaps, Address The Needs, And Elevate The Futures Of Our Youngest Citizens.

Living up to the SOULS Integrity.

Love-Is-The-Beauty-Of-The-Soul-I-Know-The-Truth-Quotes

We are seeing so many people these days awakening to their soul and heart and it is wonderful, we see so many embracing their consciousness and stepping up to the accountability of one’s thoughts, inner words, outer actions; but there is a but, you will also have those who speak spirit but have no Soul Ethics or Integrity.

One does not connect to our divine soul to capitalize on benefiting or profiting from another under false pretences. Opening up to our soul which feeds and opens the heart and lifts the spirit into action and opens our mind to knowingness, is not a game to be played out to serve an ego or greed or to lord over others.

Having said that there are many out there that have changed their careers to being that person who will help you find your divine path with their shared expertise and love. The trick is to know, who are those that come from a reality of soul truth and who are those riding a wave of EGO.

I HAVE INTERVIEWED MANY ON THIS STATION WHO ARE AUTHENTIC IN THEIR WORK AND HERE FOR THE RIGHT REASONS.

The SOUL is your divine connection to God or source or divine energy whatever you believe in., G.U.S, God, Universe Spirit. It is our truth our knowingness, it is our DIVINE INTELLECT. When we open up to it we know what we need to know when we need to know it, for it is the universal collective knowledge that has no need of lies. IT IS PEACE IT IS LOVE IT IS WHOLENESS.

Spiritual vampires

When someone speaks spirituality or conscious belief, make sure that it is coming from their soul and heart and not just another way to make a buck or feed their EGO. Spirit Charlton’s speak to those who are vulnerable and in soul heart recovery for they are in desperate need to be fed hope and a how to be guided forward into a life of loving meaningful purpose.

Being tuned in, listening to your soul, feeding your heart, lifting your spirit and stepping into knowingness is key to living an ethical integral life. BEWARE of those who are speaking it but not practising it, do not let them pull the wool over your eyes of damage your soul. You will know who they are, the soul vampires, they are the ones who speak first of EGO self importance, not the importance of self ( the difference being one is derived of feeding yourself, mind, body and soul, the other is feeding your insecurity and ego) If it is all about their possibilities, if you see constant promotion of them, if it is about them them them, then it is not about YOU.

Those that truly care, share……those that heal have been there……those that are real, speak to your heart and soul……those that are truth, speak in knowingness.

There are people out there doing DIVINE work in healing of our souls, minds, body and lifting our spirits in to action, hear them, feel them, know them, for their journey is what has made them who they are, their thoughts words and actions speak to who they are, look feel and hear them, then choose that someone you connect to and embrace their love kindness and spirit, for they are the ones who will authentically move you forward into embracing your divine life. Yes, it has become their lifes work and business, so energy exchanges energy, in this case, payment for services.

MINDFULNESS is SOULFULNESS so feel your thoughts, hear your heart, and listen to your soul for that is what puts your spirit into action.

Remember to stay in the integrity of soul one must always be honest in intent and in action, can you look at your self in the mirror and be open and honest with self? for that is where the truth starts, you are your word, your action, your truth, own it, be it, speak it, share it, for that is what life is about SOUL HEART SPIRIT INTEGRITY.

What is resilience?

Life may not come with a map, but everyone will experience twists and turns, from everyday challenges to traumatic events with more lasting impact, like the death of a loved one, a life-altering accident or a serious illness. Each change affects people differently, bringing a unique flood of thoughts, strong emotions and uncertainty. Yet people generally adapt well over time to life-changing situations and stressful situations — in part thanks to resilience.

Psychologists define resilience as the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress — such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems, or workplace and financial stressors. As much as resilience involves “bouncing back” from these difficult experiences, it can also involve profound personal growth.

While these adverse events, much like rough river waters, are certainly painful and difficult, they don’t have to determine the outcome of your life. There are many aspects of your life you can control, modify and grow with. That’s the role of resilience. Becoming more resilient not only helps you get through difficult circumstances, it also empowers you to grow and even improve your life along the way.

Being resilient doesn’t mean that a person won’t experience difficulty or distress. People who have suffered major adversity or trauma in their lives commonly experience emotional pain and stress. In fact, the road to resilience is likely to involve considerable emotional distress.

While certain factors might make some individuals more resilient than others, resilience isn’t necessarily a personality trait that only some people possess. On the contrary, resilience involves behaviors, thoughts and actions that anyone can learn and develop. The ability to learn resilience is one reason research has shown that resilience is ordinary, not extraordinary. One example is the response of many Americans to the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and individuals’ efforts to rebuild their lives after tragedy.

Like building a muscle, increasing your resilience takes time and intentionality. Focusing on four core components — connection, wellness, healthy thinking and meaning — can empower you to withstand and learn from difficult and traumatic experiences. To increase your capacity for resilience to weather — and grow from — the difficulties, use these strategies.

Build your connections

Prioritize relationships. Connecting with empathetic and understanding people can remind you that you’re not alone in the midst of difficulties. Focus on finding trustworthy and compassionate individuals who validate your feelings, which will support the skill of resilience.

The pain of traumatic events can lead some people to isolate themselves, but it’s important to accept help and support from those who care about you. Whether you go on a weekly date night with your spouse or plan a lunch out with a friend, try to prioritize genuinely connecting with people who care about you.

Join a group.

Along with one-on-one relationships, some people find that being active in civic groups, faith-based communities, or other local organizations provides social support and can help you reclaim hope. Research groups in your area that could offer you support and a sense of purpose or joy when you need it.

Foster wellness

Take care of your body.

Self-care may be a popular buzzword, but it’s also a legitimate practice for mental health and building resilience. That’s because stress is just as much physical as it is emotional. Promoting positive lifestyle factors like proper nutrition, ample sleep, hydration and regular exercise can strengthen your body to adapt to stress and reduce the toll of emotions like anxiety or depression.

Practice mindfulness

Mindful journaling, yoga, and other spiritual practices like prayer or meditation can also help people build connections and restore hope, which can prime them to deal with situations that require resilience. When you journal, meditate or pray, ruminate on positive aspects of your life and recall the things you’re grateful for, even during personal trials.

Avoid negative outlets. It may be tempting to mask your pain with alcohol, drugs or other substances, but that’s like putting a bandage on a deep wound. Focus instead on giving your body resources to manage stress, rather than seeking to eliminate the feeling of stress altogether.

Find purpose

Help others. Whether you volunteer with a local homeless shelter or simply support a friend in their own time of need, you can garner a sense of purpose, foster self-worth, connect with other people and tangibly help others, all of which can empower you to grow in resilience.

Be proactive.

It’s helpful to acknowledge and accept your emotions during hard times, but it’s also important to help you foster self-discovery by asking yourself, “What can I do about a problem in my life?” If the problems seem too big to tackle, break them down into manageable pieces.

For example, if you got laid off at work, you may not be able to convince your boss it was a mistake to let you go. But you can spend an hour each day developing your top strengths or working on your resume. Taking initiative will remind you that you can muster motivation and purpose even during stressful periods of your life, increasing the likelihood that you’ll rise up during painful times again.

Move toward your goals.

Develop some realistic goals and do something regularly — even if it seems like a small accomplishment — that enables you to move toward the things you want to accomplish. Instead of focusing on tasks that seem unachievable, ask yourself, “What’s one thing I know I can accomplish today that helps me move in the direction I want to go?” For example, if you’re struggling with the loss of a loved one and you want to move forward, you could join a grief support group in your area.

Look for opportunities for self-discovery.

People often find that they have grown in some respect as a result of a struggle. For example, after a tragedy or hardship, people have reported better relationships and a greater sense of strength, even while feeling vulnerable. That can increase their sense of self-worth and heighten their appreciation for life.

Embrace healthy thoughts

Keep things in perspective. How you think can play a significant part in how you feel — and how resilient you are when faced with obstacles. Try to identify areas of irrational thinking, such as a tendency to catastrophize difficulties or assume the world is out to get you, and adopt a more balanced and realistic thinking pattern. For instance, if you feel overwhelmed by a challenge, remind yourself that what happened to you isn’t an indicator of how your future will go, and that you’re not helpless. You may not be able to change a highly stressful event, but you can change how you interpret and respond to it.

Accept change.

Accept that change is a part of life. Certain goals or ideals may no longer be attainable as a result of adverse situations in your life. Accepting circumstances that cannot be changed can help you focus on circumstances that you can alter.

Maintain a hopeful outlook.

It’s hard to be positive when life isn’t going your way. An optimistic outlook empowers you to expect that good things will happen to you. Try visualizing what you want, rather than worrying about what you fear. Along the way, note any subtle ways in which you start to feel better as you deal with difficult situations.

Learn from your past.

By looking back at who or what was helpful in previous times of distress, you may discover how you can respond effectively to new difficult situations. Remind yourself of where you’ve been able to find strength and ask yourself what you’ve learned from those experiences.

Seeking help

Getting help when you need it is crucial in building your resilience.

For many people, using their own resources and the kinds of strategies listed above may be enough for building their resilience. But at times, an individual might get stuck or have difficulty making progress on the road to resilience.

A licensed mental health professional such as a psychologist can assist people in developing an appropriate strategy for moving forward. It is important to get professional help if you feel like you are unable to function as well as you would like or perform basic activities of daily living as a result of a traumatic or other stressful life experience. Keep in mind that different people tend to be comfortable with different styles of interaction. To get the most out of your therapeutic relationship, you should feel at ease with a mental health professional or in a support group.

The important thing is to remember you’re not alone on the journey. While you may not be able to control all of your circumstances, you can grow by focusing on the aspects of life’s challenges you can manage with the support of loved ones and trusted professionals.

Only the lonely

Life is a wonderful thing if you have people to share it with. Don’t put off today what needs to be done to-day. Join something…

Everyone experiences some loneliness sometimes in their lives, but there are people who experience more than their fair share. The season to be jolly is a time where people feel their loneliness the most. Everyone is talking about this event and that dinner party, and there are some with nowhere to go. These without not homeless people who have a network of friends looking out for each other, but your everyday people who you may work with or live next door to.

Loneliness is not just about a person being alone, but about feeling lonely within their lives. You may have many people among you, but you have this overwhelming feeling of detachment or loneliness. You are not a part of the group, or you are perceived as being full of life and strong and people presume that you have a life and so, therefore, do not need to include you in their activities. There is nothing worse than being lonely in a crowd or being lonely in a marriage. You want to shout out that you do not feel that you belong, but no one would understand or really care. People only want the life of the party around them, it is too much effort to bring someone out of their shell. That shy person who would love to be included, but do not feel adequate to interject into the conversation.

True friends that know you and can hear you are a rare thing nowadays. We are consumed with being popular with the crowd that to be true to your personality and show everyone who you really are, is too scary for most people. No matter how popular you are, I believe that we all feel the loneliness at some time or other. Do we always feel that we belong? Do we look around and say, “Yes, these are the people I want to be with”

Do we feel perfect strangers sometimes even if we are with friends?

For some work is their only point of contact with people, 9THIS IS ME) or they volunteer to do things to be near people and to socialize. Church is to some a way of socializing more than it is a faith or a place where they feel they belong. Married people often volunteer at events because their married lives are so lonely. You can be sitting next to a spouse and feel utterly alone many women I know go through this, I know extremely well from my own experience.

Life is busy, I have friends, I am an organizer, I organize social events, I love to be near people, but I am the one who does this, no one else does. “We can we not do it like you, so we do not do it” this is what I hear. Yes, I know, I need to get a more productive life, and I am trying too. Can anyone tell me how! Many are in this situation, bound to children, a loveless marriage and have no money. I am trying to earn money and hopefully gain more people to socialize with. I am a positive thinker, always pushing people to think positively for themselves and to believe in something. I am there for them all. But today I feel very very lonely, even in a crowd. I want to scream out “hear me I am here” I talk to people but sometimes feel this is just ‘noise.’ I am trapped in my own loneliness, and I do not necessarily know how to get out of it.

This is why so many of us are so lonely. We are trying to communicate with people around us, but no one is hearing us. We are just another thing in the room, another person to pass your woes onto, another person for you to dump your negativity on. Where is the light? The sound of uplifting voices? A valued conversation with someone who really cares a damn. Where are all the other lonely people?

Look to your right and then to your left, do you see them? Now look into your mirror, what does that tell you? Are you one of us? Or is your life full of meaningful content and valued friends? We live in a society that is detached from feeling (in case someone should hurt us) and from the fear of trust being broken (in case someone should take advantage of us). I do believe that we need to get back to a village society, where everyone looks out for each other and shares your joys and your woes.

Life is hard to living on your own. We need to start stretching out our arms to others and take them into our embrace and let them know that they are not alone. I do not mean like an interfering community where everyone gets in your business with judgment and malice, but a place where people will respect each other’s individuality and our privacy. We can be a community and respect each other’s lives, we can share and give each other strength, and we can let them know that they are not alone. We must start trusting in each other and be there for each other before the aloneness spreads to all and gets out of proportion.

Start sharing your life with people who care and start being honest with yourself and others. Rather than stand-alone, it is time to unite and to share our lives, to reach out and touch someone who makes them feel wanted and help them erase the loneliness from their lives.

Life is a wonderful thing if you have people to share it with. Do not put off today what needs to be done today. Join something; voice your feeling to friends and co-workers. Let your family know how you feel, just do not stand for loneliness; it is a very dark place to be. I know for I have been there most of my life, so let the light in somehow, I trust in the energy of the world and one day find someone to share my life with that really does care. I will make it my mission to do so because I have seen enough darkness and I now need the light to go on. Help each other to find the switch.

I still feel lonely at times but have come to realize this is my being. Since 2012’s awakening, more people can hear me, but there is still the assumption that my life is perfect, and I do not need people. I am a loner in many things, and because I can be the life of the party, I confuse people as they think I have it all. I am at peace with my aloneness and really do value it, but I feel it most when I am in a crowd, just because I simply do not fit in, this is how it is, I found my tribe online and know that I am excepted as me and a part of a cyber family of friends. For now, I do enjoy my work and commitment to the next phase of Self Discovery Media/Orchard of Wisdom’s development, that being alone will be a treat.

A Dream Long Dreamt

quotation

Over the years I have dreamt of creating certain things, now closer to the possibility of making it happen, I am looking at the collective picture to make happen.

I believe if we bring the business world and the wellness world together in ethical, dignified, respectful, and enlightened collaboration, we would unit the good vibrations this world needs to move forward into global well-being productivity.

Back in 2001 when I started The Art of Positive Living, I desired a large old house that would provide holistic services for those willing to embrace a new path to wellness. In this house were an aromatherapy room, a massage room, a yoga room, an acupuncture room, an intuitive room, an inferred sauna room, a child care room for parents, a social guidance therapy room, and a juice bar with healthy snacks room.

It would have been members only and would have allowed 20% of its participant’s free to allow access to people like Mums, Dads, caregivers, and the homeless who need it and can’t afford it.

A dream not yet realized but still obtainable.

I also dreamt of a community where holistic, alternative lifestylers and practitioners would live and work. Not a hippie commune but a professional healing arena and training ground for people to come to in order to heal and healers to learn how to heal and grow their own businesses.

I achieved that in a different way through Self Discovery Media and Orchard of Wisdom where we have set the stage of abundant wisdom to illuminate, guide, and support people on their life’s journey.

Having now perswonally interviewed over 2800+ people who are doing great things for people in the world, I know the one thing lacking is a PLACE for like souled, minded and spirited people to come and embrace their like collaborators and expand on their personal gifts.

I have over the last 10 years, built a platform with an abundance of wisdom, skills, knowledge, and passion that will enable others to grow into their own abundance. In each show, each person interviewed is the inspiration that invites us to know that we can become the person we hope to be if we are willing to invest time, love, and energy into our own processes in life.

My philosophy is always to seed others in their own productive possibilities, which in turn helps mankind grow by building stronger communities. A portion of the overall proceeds from our pod books, shows, Mentors, Practitioners, plus, goes back into the community giving opportunities to those who need care guidance, and hope whose budget does not allow for it. This is my Fund-Action Program that will be ignited this year.

Self Discovery Media has led me to some extraordinary people doing wonderful things for the people and the planet, and as a possibility seer, I see lots of cohesive collaborations with many. BUT, if they do not see it or feel it, or do not wish to pursue it, then it is a no-go.

So I keep my fishing rod out there, always looking for those collaborations, those potential co/ventures, sponsors, and soul alignments that could propel any of us forward into that bigger picture.

Globally we are each doing our own thing, but by weaving our thread together we can have a blanket of hope, possibilities, actions and production with a solid foundation to grow and unit on.

I have asked the universe to send me such innovative active souls who share a similar vision so we may start building a foundation in which to build all those possibilities.

So far I have people who see the bigger picture and share a desire, and people who could build it, and many of those who will use it. Now like a good piece of music, we need to bring it together in harmony and produce a musical piece that inspires illuminates and invites all those who are ready to take action in building a better life for themselves and a stronger world for us all to live in.

Here I go, leap of faith, for I believe in my meaningful purpose and the journey it took to get here. I am ready to make this vision a reality, I am open to partnerships with those who share the dream and step forth in action, I am in joy to know that this will build a safe haven for all those who wish to embrace their soul, heart, spirit freedom and become part of the solution to the world’s problems.

It all starts with us, within us and because of us, let this be the platform that unites us all in unity and dignity and meaningful global purpose.

Together we will change the world.  As each person awakens we move the total consciousness forward.

On the Transformations Show, I will be interviewing people who are doing their part to change the world for the better. They are people who had the courage of their convictions, the drive within them to do what they know they came here on this planet to do, and the passion to see it through.  They are not different from you and me, they are committed. My wish is they inspire you to follow what you came here to do.  This time it is not one person who will lead us into change, it is many of us, each doing our small or large part.  A quote from my book, “How Life Works, “When you act from your heart, you are standing in your full strength. The heart is the place of wisdom, honor, and courage.”  This is the time to open our hearts and trust what is within us and share it generously with the world.

It has been a long journey to get to this show.  I have always known what I am talking about here but have not always trusted and followed it.  When Sara opened up the door for me to do it, I came back to myself. I have successfully coached people for about twenty-six years.  Since I have been an entrepreneur for that long I coach entrepreneurs, but it’s not only about business, it’s about our development as people and business is the route many people take.  But to be successful at anything you have to know who you are which is the purpose of coaching. The people you’ll be meeting on  Transformations shows have had their own journeys which they will share.  Now it’s time for you to start your journey.

Dianne holds a Masters’ degree in Human Development with a specialty in counseling and coaching and has coached entrepreneurs for over 26 years.  She has trained entrepreneurs to pitch to investors and has run many pitch events.  She has had a radio show interviewing entrepreneurs for 5 years and writes a weekly blog, Success Thoughts Blog
